Caroline Allan
Head of Production
Caroline joined Rock Oyster in Sept 25, having worked as a freelance Line Producer and Senior PM for 4 years in Brighton working most recently on a True Crime series and leading their Paranormal strand of programmes. From Fact-ent to documentaries, Caroline is used to working on fast turnaround, challenging productions, filming all around the world. Before moving into the freelance world Caroline worked for Twofour for 19 years on a wide genre of programmes for the BBC, ITV, Channel 5 and UKTV.
Laura Peat
Finance Manager
Laura is both CIMA and AAT qualified. With over 15 years of experience in accounting and finance roles across a range of industries, as well as within accountancy practice, she brings a broad and well-rounded perspective to financial management. Working with organisations of varying sizes and sectors has helped shape Laura into a commercially minded management accountant who combines strong technical expertise with a practical understanding of business operations. Laura was drawn to the television production industry for its dynamic, fast-paced environment and the opportunity to be part of a creative and ever-evolving sector. She enjoys supporting the business behind the scenes, helping teams make informed decisions and driving financial performance.
Chris Williams
Series Producer/Director
Chris has been producing and directing television for over 25 years, making over 100 hours of primetime television across a diverse range of programming. He has produced and directed docs for BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky Atlantic. As a Series Producer/Director he is one of the architects of Channel 5’s hit factual entertainment series The Hotel Inspector and a number of successful travelogues such as Dermot’s Taste of Ireland for ITV1, The Greek Islands with Julia Bradbury for ITV1, and Alex Polizzi’s Secret Italy, Italian Islands and Spectacular Spain for Channel 5.
Neil Edwards
Executive Producer
Neil is an RTS, Broadcast and BAFTA award-winning factual programme-maker. He began his career at the BBC before moving to Twofour as a Director and Executive Producer, ultimately becoming their Head of Factual and Specialist Factual. Neil has produced and directed hit shows from Travelogue to True Crime, Fact Ent to Feature Docs, Science to the Arts and everything in between. He has a proven track record in creating and delivering returning formats. He developed Channel 5’s longest running show ‘The Hotel Inspector’ (20 series and counting) and was behind the global sales hits ‘Born to Kill?’ (10 series) and ‘Impossible Engineering’ (10 series) and has produced successful, critically acclaimed programmes for all major broadcasters. He now brings his renowned storytelling ability, leadership and craft skills to the Rock Oyster team.
Mark Sammon
Head of Digital
Mark Sammon is a highly regarded television executive and former commissioning editor with extensive experience developing and overseeing successful factual, documentary and digital content for UK broadcasters. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for identifying emerging audience trends, nurturing creative talent and delivering innovative content strategies across broadcast and digital platforms. As Head of Digital at Rock Oyster Media, Mark will lead the company's digital growth strategy, expanding its multi-platform content offering and developing new opportunities across streaming, social and emerging media. His unique combination of commissioning expertise, editorial leadership and digital insight will play a key role in driving the next phase of Rock Oyster Media's growth.
Olwyn Mathews
Production Manager
Olwyn began her career in regional television in 1995 at Westcountry TV. Starting on the reception desk she soon made the move into the newsroom where she trained as a gallery PA. From there Olwyn transferred to the Features Department working on local documentaries and entertainment shows. 2006 saw Olwyn start work as a Production Manager at Plymouth based Denham Productions where she worked on four Gary Rhodes cookery series for UKTV Food and ten Rick Stein series for the BBC. Olwyn made the move to join Rock Oyster in 2020.
Meg Keegan
Project Lead
Meg’s career as a researcher, development AP, Production Manager and Producer has been carved out exclusively from the Westcountry and has seen her involved in delivering shows to all major broadcasters whilst working for Denham Productions, Twofour and now Rock Oyster. Right now, Meg has day to day responsibility for Unwind, Rock Oyster’s innovative Mindfulness content project with ITV, that sees her and the team deliver 75 minutes of mindfulness programming to the channel every single day, year round.
Geena Giacalone
Production Coordinator
Geena Giacalone joined Rock Oyster in July 2025. With experience across factual entertainment, reality, and observational documentaries for major broadcasters including ITV, Channel 5, and Discovery. She has coordinated shoots in the UK and abroad, managing logistics, crews, and compliance on productions such as A Taste of Saudi, Kavos Weekender, and Hotel Benidorm. Known for her strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and calm efficiency, Geena thrives in fast-paced environments and brings a proactive, solutions-driven approach to every production
Jane Pierce
Production Manager
Jane has more than 25 years of broadcast television experience, primarily as a freelance Production Manager and Production Executive, delivering complex productions for major UK broadcasters. She has worked across a wide range of genres and has extensive experience managing overseas shoots and live productions. Her television credits include Big Brother, The Hotel Inspector, The Chelsea Flower Show, The Olympics (IMG/TWI), Born to Kill, City Hospital, and BBC News. Jane is used to guiding ambitious, fast-paced productions with clarity, efficiency, and a collaborative approach, and a smile. Jane has worked on a number of productions with Rock Oyster Media, including two series of Dubai Dishes for ITV and the BBC2 travel series Alison Hammond’s Florida Unpacked. She is currently working on two new series: Raiders of the Lost Crafts for Sky History and Gary Barlow’s Food and Wine Tour, New Zealand for ITV, both due to be broadcast in 2026.
Hannah Wilson
Producer
Hannah started her TV career as a runner on Saturday Kitchen for the BBC and has stayed in the food space ever since. She knows everyone there is to know in cookery, and over the years has travelled the UK and the world with chefs from James Martin to Ainsley Harriott. Hannah’s food credentials put her right at the heart of everything Rock Oyster does in the genre and, since we do so much, it’s pretty handy that she has broad shoulders and really loves making lists!
Maia Sherwood-Rogers
Producer
Trained as a Marine Biologist, Maia began her career in wildlife film at OneTribe and OSF, before joining Plimsoll Productions to work on the Emmy-winning, four-times Emmy nominated series Incredible Animal Journeys (Disney+/NatGeo). She moved into factual entertainment and digital content, working for TwoFour and Off The Fence, as well as creating digital branded content for Jack Wolfskin and MINI Electric across YouTube and Instagram. Maia joined Rock Oyster in July 2025, where she produces destination programmes and creates conversations around AI/digital innovation, ideally with a cat on her lap and a post-work pint on the horizon.
Tara Stones
Development Assistant Producer
Tara began at Rock Oyster in the summer of 2020. She started working life in academia but made the jump to the media sector to further develop her passion for all things telly, bringing humour and attentiveness to her work in development and on production. Most recently she has been busy on Josie's Taste of the Westcountry for ITV and Alison Hammond's Florida Unpacked for BBC Two.
Maisy McKenzie
Researcher
Maisy joined Rock Oyster in 2024 with a contagious enthusiasm and brings a vibrant energy to the workplace. Maisy loves being on shoots and enjoys thriving in the fast-paced, creative environment. Outside of work, you’ll find her exploring new destinations through travel, listening to her favourite music and cherishing quality time with friends and family.
Talia Winn
Assistant Producer
Since joining the TV world in 2018, Talia has worked largely within Specialist Factual and Food genres. This means she has an intriguingly broad range of knowledge bases ranging from farming & food science, to ancient engineering! Her credits include broadcasters such as Sky History, Discovery Science, BBC, ITV and Channel 4. Talia feels privileged to have a career that allows her to travel the world and gain unique insight into diverse cultures and industries.
Ava Munro
Production Assistant
Ava graduated from university in the summer of 2025, completing a degree in Film and TV production. Keen to learn, Ava takes on her first role in the industry as production assistant, bringing fresh energy and ideas as she works across many productions supporting the team.
